C++ is an object oriented programming language which was developed by Bjorne stroupstrup in 1982 at AT and T-Bell Lab in New Joursy, USA. In the early of 1980 it was initially called C programming language but later in 1982 the name was changed and become C++ after adding some more extra features in C programming language.
There are some extra features in C++ in comparison to C programming language like: Inheritance, Polymorphism, Class, Templates, Encapsulation and many more. The features was added in C programming language so it is called C++. C++ is versatile programming language so today C++ has become very popular programming language. The most powerful application of C++ is that we can design area of user interface such as windows.
Importance of C++:
a. We can eliminate redundant and unwanted codes through inheritance and extent the use of existing class or functions.
b. The program build in C++ will be secure because it follows the principle of data hiding.
c. We can use to build both small, simple program to build large and complex programs.
d. We can manage software complexity.
e. The addition and deletion process of function is easy.
